DO IT DAY AT ST. JOSEPH’S

November 23, 2010

Xoliswa (far left), Hessel, Mandy and Sabine (all volunteering for Old Mutual’s DO IT DAY “Give a Hand – Change a Life”) came together to help clean the medical ward windows. Mario, the Operations Manager noted that “we have a lot of work keeping five medical wards in top shape, and cleaning the windows is always on our “To Do” list, but the project gets pushed back due to more pressing needs.”
We send out a big thank you to Old Mutual for supporting ‘DO IT DAY’, to Greater Good for connecting the dots and to the four volunteers for helping to keep our view of the world sparkling! Thank you!!!

Thank you Rebecca

October 12, 2010

This picture of Rebecca was taken two months ago. At the time Rebecca was volunteering at the home. Rebecca has mailed a package of gifts from the USA to the Sunflower girl’s medical ward, as well as gifts for some of the other children. As you can guess, it was an early Christmas for the children. A big THANK YOU to Rebecca for putting big smiles on the faces of our children, and for making each of them feel special!

September 22, 2010

On behalf of the children at St Joseph’s, please accept our sincere thanks for the construction of a lovely dolls house, located in the playground area of our little girls Medical Ward. The Doll House has become a second home to many of the girls. Thank you to Broken Bread Ministries …who donated the Doll house and to ATC Business Concepts and MLB Labour Consultants for helping to connect the dots.
